What is the Third Eye Chakra?
The Third Eye Chakra is the sixth chakra and the sixth sense. In Sanskrit, is known as “the seat of intuition.”
It represents our divine truth and oneness.
It focuses on vision, compassion, wisdom, and imagination.
There’s a quote that encompasses this idea wholly -
“You are not a drop in the ocean; you are the entire ocean in a drop.” - Rumi
When you start to focus on this quote, and you start to understand expansion, you start to realize:
I am part of the creation of the trees
I am part of the creation of the ocean
I am created with divinity
Your level of oneness raises your consciousness, and it raises your vibration. And when you become comfortable with this notion, you start receiving, seeing, and feeling different forms that weren't always there.
Third Eye Chakra Location
The Third Chakra is right between the eyebrows. Associated with the color indigo, its gland is the pituitary. And the body parts are the lower brain, nose, eyes, nervous system, and pineal gland.
When the Third Eye Chakra opens for the first time, it’s common to feel buzzing and tingling.
What Are The Signs Your Third Eye Chakra is in Alignment?
When your Third Eye is in alignment, you can see and feel beyond what is physically there.
You have the ability to see your desires clearly
You have the ability to recall your dreams vividly
You have self-realization
You’re awakened and aware that we’re inseparable from God
By seeing divinity itself, you understand that we are spiritual beings having a physical experience in this world.
A lot of psychic development courses or intuition development ideas you see online are SO focused on the Third Eye Chakra.
This is because the Third Eye allows you to see beyond what’s here in the 3D.
I often have people asking me, “how do I start seeing from my Third Eye Chakra?”, and more often than not, people give up when they don’t see immediate results.
But let me tell you this...
What people often fail to note is that, if you don't have the foundation from the Root Chakra to the Throat Chakra aligned, then the Third Eye Chakra WON’T be able to open up and become awakened.
You need to align the foundations first before you awaken your Third Eye.
That’s when the Third Eye Chakra starts to take power.
What Are The Signs Your Third Eye Chakra is Out of Alignment?
An overactive Third Eye Chakra is going to have trouble sleeping.
You might find yourself experiencing insomnia, confusion, or anxiety. It’s also common to have frequent headaches or creative blocks.
When the Third Eye Chakra is underactive, it's indecisive.
It's procrastinating
It's fearful of the unknown
It hinders your ability to focus
It’s incapable of recalling dreams
It’s unable to see beyond the physical
When the Third Eye Chakra is out of alignment, you don't have the ability to imagine.
Our imagination, creative thought processes, and the ability to visualize are severely limited.
The physical manifestation of a Third Eye Chakra problem is not wanting to see something that is right in front of you.
For example, imagine you're in a relationship. This person is being disloyal and deceiving.
But instead of facing the truth, you want to see the best in everything. You don't want to confront what's actually happening.
You may also experience:
Egotistic behavior
Nose, ear, and throat disorders
Frequent headaches
Endocrine imbalances
How Does it Come Out of Alignment?
The number one reason your Third Eye Chakra becomes out of alignment is that you have a blocked Throat Chakra.
When you’re unable to communicate your beauty, your truth, and your love, you’ll have an inability to see heaven.
Heaven is beyond the physical. So if you can't communicate your own truth, and your own gifts in this world, you SURE AS HELL won't be able to see it.
I have a visual for you...
Think of water. Think of water as a symbol of universal lifeforce energy, flowing through our bodies, up and down our chakras. 🌊
But if one of our lower chakras is blocked and hinders the process, it will stop the flow.
Think of it like a capacity, a limit where the universal lifeforce energy is stuck because of a closed wheel. When it's obstructed, the energy is sporadic. It’s stuck in the Third Eye and the Crown area.
It’s not able to flow into the rest of the body, meaning you’re not able to feel that connection between the Chakras.
Reasons For a Blocked Third Eye Chakra
Dogma can be a HUGE reason why our third eye chakra becomes blocked.
If you were brought up in a strictly religious family, that categorized your gifts as crazy or demonic, then you will NOT be able to see the future.
The Third Eye Chakra, to protect itself, is going to close down. You're not going to be able to see all of the messages that are actually here.
Aligning the Third Eye Chakra has a lot to do with safety and your own emotional desire.
It all comes down to your trust in yourself, your ability to love and forgive, and your ability to express your truth.
If you can't express your truth, then there's no point in receiving the messages, right? Because the messages are never meant for JUST us. They’re meant for the collective.
It's about bringing in messages through our bodies and then taking them out.
We are vessels for innovation, inspiration, and divination.
It’s up to us to share and express these messages so we can create a collective that’s vibrating at its highest potential.
If we can't hear the messages due to the lower chakras being in their density, then we cannot communicate our messages. We cannot create an awakened collective that is tapped into their intuition and psychic abilities.
That's why this work is SO important right now. There is a shift happening, where people are waking up, and learning how beneficial it is to be able to understand how intuition moves through us.

How to Start Healing Your Third Eye Chakra
To heal your Third Eye Chakra, you need to anchor into your spiritual connection. You can do this by:
Using psychedelics
Getting out in nature
Activating spiritual gifts
Healing the lower chakras
Whether you're deciding to use psychedelics to microdose, activate different parts of your brain, or you're doing a full ceremony always be safe. When you’re in a healthy state of mind psychedelics will immediately release the veil of any falsehood that we aren't connected to everything.
But if you’re resistant to using psychedelics, going into nature can have the same effects.
Being in nature, simply connecting with the trees, admiring a waterfall, or hiking and being by a mountain can connect and open up your Third Eye Chakra. When we use movement, we can align our Third Eye too. You can try activities such as:
Candle gazing: encouraging a deep state of focus using the imagination
Child's Pose: placing light, stimulating pressure on the Third Eye
Wide-legged forward fold: to provide a powerful shift to your perception
Alternate nostril breathing: to balance the right and left hemispheres of your brain
