Last week, we talked about whether your people actually 'know' you.

 

Here's the thing: while your work might be your expression, your business has a bottom line.

 

For your audience, it's: Can you actually help me?


For you, it's: Can I sustainably and abundantly live from this expression?


 

so lets talk about  “trust.”

 

Liking gets attention. 

Knowing gets interest. 

But trust?  Trust gets sales.

 

And yet… it's the one most people unknowingly sabotage.


Because the moment your own self trust wavers—it shows up in your content, launches, devotion and sales pages. Steep this …


 

People sabotage trust when they:


~ Misrepresent who they are or what their offers actually deliver.


~ Downplay the transformation they know they can facilitate.


~ Say they want visibility but don't build the nervous system capacity to hold it.


~ Create content that doesn't match their actual product suite (no through line, no cohesion).


~ Let imposter syndrome water down their voice, pricing, or positioning.


~ Never share the proof: testimonials, client results, or even their own story of growth.


~ Make themselves the hero instead of positioning the client as the star of the transformation.

Trust is built through consistency between message, energy, and evidence. When what you say, show, and sell all line up—your audience's brain relaxes. Safety = sales.

Like: They show their real lifestyle:  messy suitcases, road trip snacks, their “health conscious” chik -fil-a order, imperfect balance. You like them because they make wellness feel human, not rigid.

 

Know: They clearly explain their method:  how to fuel your body with simple, sustainable choices. You know they're credible because they teach the why behind their recommendations, not just meal plans. 

 

Trust: They share real client results and their own personal before and after transformation, they give their honest opinions about different fads, debunking myths & sharing how they've changed their mind about gluten. When they sell you on “Nourishment over restriction” you believe and buy from them because they live it without compromising their results (the thing you want to).


this is a great way get a pulse check on your own messaging.

Trust doesn't mean being flawless. It means when things aren't flawless, you're honest. That's where people lean in. They think: If she's this real on Instagram/email, imagine how real she'll be with me!



Sorry but gone are the days where you can solely rely on showing how much you made that month or how many people bought your $18 pdf….that ONLY tells me you're great at selling. NOT that youre great at your transformation.



your humanity, your personality, your joy, your story, your shadow communicates sooo much more than you realize. but do you have the capacity to share it?
