When many think of the dark feminine, it's usually mirrored with the concept of Lilith and her carnal desires.
Hell, I have a whole playlist dedicated to this energy, that allows me to tap into my own sacred rage and shadow aspects.
There is a whole movement dedicated to the dark aspects of the feminine…and I am here for it.
But here’s what you need to remember.
Movements are always born as a reaction to something.
My journey and searching for God/Goddess wasn't born from a place of lifelong peace and safety. It was born from the desire to understand and make meaning of the pain and of sadness present in our human condition.
When Mary Magdalene was removed from Christian scripture, as the female Christ and equal to Yeshua, not only did they remove her from her rightful position as a teacher, as priestess as Oracle…
They also turned her into a prostitute. A prostitute for which I hold zero judgment.
But it simply isn't true.
Mary Magdalene, patron of feminist, has become over-sexualized and misused.
When I think of the dark feminine in our world today, I see so many standing with it for the sake of the aesthetic…or the beautiful invitation for sensual expression.
And they're not wrong.
But my heart continued to linger on why the movement is alive and growing today.
Why The Dark Feminine Movement is Growing
What is the dark feminine movement responding to?
When the feminine are robbed of their experience to understand their own divinity…
When the feminine are robbed of their experience to connect with their God-given Oracle body…
…our world becomes dark.
When I think of the dark, feminine, I see it as a sacred rebellion to what was stolen from us.
It's a way to reclaim our power back from the intergenerational and systemic massacre against the feminine as rightful equals, as leaders as channels, and as secret authorities on this planet.
When we can reconnect back into our Oracle body, for most it's the very first time. And sitting upon your metaphorical throne takes on a whole new meaning. The stabilizer amongst the chaos. The quiet in the storm. A listener when others are loud. How different our world would be if, for the last 2000 years, the feminine were to have fortified their connection to the Cosmic Womb, the Creator of all things.
Today, there are active campaigns to separate us from our innate authority from the whispers of our body, the messages of what is true.
The True Meaning Of Dark Feminine Energy
What is required of us as feminine leaders is not just to put on the sexy playlist or to bravely post pictures of our physical masterpiece.
But it's to practice organic inquiry as a way of life.
Where every experience in our life becomes sacred. Sacred feedback.
Where our physical, energetic, emotional, and mental bodies are the instruments used for side-by-side partnership with spirit.
This is New Paradigm leadership to me.
