Why Your Lull Is a Sign You're on the Right Track (and How Your Daydreams Hold the Blueprint)




Hellloooo my beautiful honiessss,


 

Without having your sweet self in front of me on a call, I can't tell you the exact shift your business needs next…but I can tell you where the most expaaaaansive work lies:

 

~~> It's in the space where you're about to step into something new.

 

Last week, we explored re-writing your agreements with yourself, your business, your clients, your relationships, etc. And WOW—this practice stirred up so much for me personally. I still feel tender from the experience.

Today, we're diving into your ability to timeline shift into your NEW vision—and how survival mode often creeps in when you make bold changes in your business (and honestly, in life).

Timeline shifting choices show up when:


  • You're starting a new content strategy.

  • Speaking to a new client archetype.

  • Introducing a new modality or offer.

  • Bringing in a fresh brand voice.

  • Making an investment with a mentor.

  • Launching something your audience hasn't seen before.

Here's the thing: when you lean into these shifts, there's often a lull. You might notice a drop in energy, engagement, interest, or even sales.

Let. That. Be. Okay.

 

Steep this …


 There are two phases to introducing anything new in your business:

  1. The current audience evaluates if they resonate with your new approach—and some may fall away.

  2. The new audience, the ones meant to buy from your new vision, begin to find you.

The tricky part? There's often a gap between these two phases—a space where survival instincts kick in.

 

For example:


Let's say you've been working with clients in the online space, but now you want to shift to working with corporate directors. 

 

You might post 3–4 times, speaking to corporate directors, and notice your engagement drops or your current audience doesn't seem interested.

 

This is where the timeline split happens.

 

Your embodiment determines whether you stick with this new path or fall back into old patterns.

 

 

The real tea …

 

When the pressure of survival hits, most people tend towards two choices:

  1. Revert to what feels safe, going back to what “worked” before. speaking to the old archetype, showing up the old way, etc.

  2. Stay committed to your vision, even when it feels uncertain. feel the discomfort, make room for it and keep feeling and acting toward the goal you're holding.


Choosing commitment does more than build your digital portfolio; it sends a message to the universe:


 “I'm serious about this.”

 

And guess what? The universe mirrors that energy back (yes with a delay).

 

But here's the kicker: your visibility and faith need to hold hands. 

 

Your commitment to being visible —not hiding in the lull— is just as important as your commitment to having faith.

 

So my beautiful....LET your timeline shift, even during the illusionary lull. 


The new audience will find you. The vision will materialize. 


Don't abandon your vision before the going gets good.

 

Every single day, I thank my past self for having the courage to show up. For letting herself be seen in the messy, beautiful act of trying. For embracing trial and error like it was part of the plan. For being unapologetically, delusionally obsessed with the vision of the life I'm living now.
