THIS WEEKS CUPPA….

'Tis the season for re-negotiating energetic and literal contracts.
As a fifth line (5/1), I've had my fair share of agreements projected onto me—ones I never actually agreed to. el oh el.
What I've learned from this over the years is the power of being crystal clear about what I am agreeing to. But you have to know yourself and vision well enough so you don't fall into the miscommunication of an agreement that isn't serving you.
For example, all my 1:1 clients know: I always send an outline that defines my role, what exactly the client will receive and mutual expectations. It's a deliciously direct way to set the tone for our work together—clarity from the start means everyone knows exactly what to expect and receive. and I empower my client to voice any needs they may have outside of that because personally i want them to walk away like “ahhhhh, shes got my back, yummm!” whether it's in my scope to deliver it or not!
The same principle applies everywhere:
~In friendships, misunderstandings arise when one person has expectations the other never signed off on.
~In romantic relationships, resentment festers when you don't communicate your needs but still expect them to be met.
~In business, unhappy clients often stem from a disconnect between what you marketed and what you can actually deliver.
And let's not forget the most important relationship: the one with yourself.
Too often, we cling to outdated agreements about who we are, what we deserve, what's possible, or even what we're good at—agreements that directly contradict the future we claim we're stepping into. (p.s. hypnosis is amaaaazing at creating new internal contracts with ourselves)
Steep this :
You can't keep scripting “This is my 6/7-figure year!” if you're unwilling to invest $10k–$20k+ in your own growth and business.
That's a total conflict between the embodiment you're holding and the vision you're dreaming…
so be clear. only uphold agreements you're DESIRING and COMMITTING to maintaining.
it its TOTALLY okay to re-negotiate agreements, for example:
~you're allowed to tell your client “instead of three 60minute calls a month I think two 90minute calls would be more productive for our work”
~you're allowed to tell your friend group, “hey I don't actually have the capacity to maintain the level of availability i've had in the past.”
~you're allowed to tell yourself “My vision for the year is actually re-directing, it's okay to change my mind”
The real tea?:
You guys know, I love pointing out the subtle ways we create energetic leaks in our own lives….
babes---maintaing agreements that you're resentful with OR half assing…is a massssiiiive energy leak. As is ANY time you're saying yes to something that is actually a NO.
but here's the thing… we get stuck in the routine of existing agreements so that's why this week…I realllllly invite you to assess everywhere you have SPOKEN, WRITTEN and ASSUMED agreements.
